This just in from our broadcast editor. Do you fancy your chances? Or do you know anybody that might?
Ever thought you could be a City trader and make their millions?
TRADING UP is an eight part reality internet TV show, brought to you by Interactive Investor in association with Stuffed Animals Media, which will give one person the chance to trade £100,000 for one week on the London Futures market on a real trading floor.
Traders aren’t just flash Essex boys and public school types, they come from all walks of life. We want 12 contestants who will be professionally trained – the training itself is worth at least £10,000 - to thrive in the pressure cooker of the Futures market.
The winner will have a £100,000 bank roll and a week to trade and will make their prize their own as they will keep what they make.
You will need to be:
1. Available for up to 6 weeks between early November and early December.
2. Medically fit enough to cope with long days and long periods of stress.
3. Competitive/ intuitive/ adventurous or a games player.
4. Willing to win, good under pressure and determined to succeed.Auditions will be held in the City of London on Saturday 20th October and Saturday 27th October. Shooting will begin in early November. Reasonable travel expenses will be covered for those invited to audition.
Selected contestants will be paid a one-off £700 fee regardless of their longevity in the competition and will be required to sign a release form giving us full rights to film taken during the creation of the programme.
Email or write to the addresses below with a covering note explaining your desire to learn to be a successful trader, a brief CV and a head-shot photograph.
