In order to perform a database upgrade, the interactive investor site will be offline from Friday night through to late Saturday morning. A holding page will display providing links to share dealing, CFDs and spreadbetting services which are not affected.
The upgrade puts us in a great position going forward to optimise the site further and introduce enhancements on the back of the new authentication mechanism.
Personally, I’ll be in Prague….so will miss out on the all-nighter and testing. Great timing

OK, so I didn’t get to Prague - my wife isnt from this planet and required a visa….something I perhaps should have looked up sooner than the morning of departure. That’ll teach me for marrying an alien.
Also, the database upgrade was backed out due to an annoying bug rearing its head in live. It being a ridiculous time in the morning here we chased the Oracle engineers in Australia but the fix came too late.
We go again this weekend (2/3rd December). The database upgrade that is.
